Found Footage Festival Presents: Super Top Secret Documentary Project
Saturday, December 13th, 7:00pm
We wish we could tell you what this 82-minute, probably-R-rated documentary is about, but for legal reasons we can't. No trailer, no clues, no hints. All we can say is that a very small number of people have seen it, and they all enjoyed it.
Sundance passed on it, but a programmer sent a personal note that read, “truly one of the most compulsively watchable entries we received this year,” which was encouraging (but perplexing why they didn't accept it). We've never screened this to a roomful of people (or strangers) so we're curious what you'll think.
The filmmakers aren’t taking a cut of the door for this screening - all proceeds go to the great Low Cinema. We only ask that you share your honest reaction afterward, good or bad. The director will be in attendance for a Q&A, and yes, you will be asked to sign an NDA before entering. Take the leap. (Probably rated-R: language)
Here's what some of the few people who watched it had to say:
A Clickhole writer said: "Without exaggeration one of the most memorable things I've seen in a minute. It's funny, heartbreaking, gripping, and so deeply relatable."
A Late Show With Stephen Colbert writer said: "I can't stop thinking about it. It's so haunting. Extremely well put together and just amazingly intimate wild footage."
